new grain free buns available at Bliss Cafe

It took a few trials to perfect an incredibly delicious grain free, gluten free, vegan bun. We sprouts our ingredients first, sunflower seeds, buckwheat groats, for a few hours, to remove enzyme inhibitors, to allow easier digestion, we then mix in flax, salt, olive oil, psyllium husk and water. Our buns are then baked,  the aroma fills the cafe, and we can't wait to serve one with a few choice toppings, some favorites are cashew mayo, chickpea spread and our own hummus, or peanut butter or other nut butters. We sell our grain free buns in bulk to offer greater savings for the family. We have had great results for those looking to reduce sugars and grains when healing dis-eases, an example, diabetes, and arthritis. stop by and try one for lunch or dinner :))))

Thank you James Thomas!

Hi friends!

We are so grateful for our friend James Thomas, film-maker and gorgeous soul, who made a short video about Bliss! James and radiant partner, Isabelle first came through Thunder Bay almost 2 years ago, and inspired us with their passion, creativity and open hearts as soon as we met them.

You can learn more about James and Isabelle and their Open Heart Tour, HERE. They have become dear friends at Bliss and have been back to visit and share Metis culture and teachings with us.

We are so grateful for the perfection of Spirit, that we are connected has been such a gift.

Nature's abundance

Nature's abundance

Free food!

Just take a stroll through the forest to see just how much is provided to us right in our own wild backyards. Better yet take a class with a local foraging expert and really learn the tricks to finding some of the most nutritious, delicious and vibrant food on the planet.

Seasonal harvests are an important part of our menu at the cafe. Creating new recipes and adding to favourites adds vibrancy to our lives and our bodies. And calling together community to help with fall harvest storage always brings a much anticipated buzzing joy to bliss.

See you in the forest!
